Naploi Italy Super Sunday...
The crowds are still here. The bases being taken down the minute the last boat is out of the water .The shore crew is in action. The cranes are busy dewinging the Aircraft or AC 45s like a fine Vuitton watch the switch is on for Venice already. This is the heart and sole of the show the Shore teams . For with out them nothing moves .. Most Shore crew have double duties be it boat repair to umpiring to driving course security boats to Media vessels this is the new streamlined Americas Cup World series . And After the huge crowds we saw Naples , Venice looks to be even bigger. longer harder for logistics and many hours again for these teams .
Some will go home for a week most some have benn given a a paid treat to trek to venice . My mark boat drivers tell me they have five days to get to Venice a little extra in there paychecks to explore Italy before the next event in May .

The teams enjoyed more media spotlights and Tv coverage than ever before as media from all of Europe made the pilgrimage to Naples. Banner poster flyers all celebrating the America's Cup and Prada's return, Something that foreshadowed even the challenger of records Artemis winning the match racing or even Derrick Bundock winning his second AC 500 The fans were here to sing la Luna Rossa and they did at the awards ceremonies in harmony . It felt like Ferrari had just won the formula one champion ship.

The crowds also cheered for Oracle racing waving american flags and banners .as well as team Frances Energy team headed by the famous Bruno and Loïck Peyron brothers and shippered by Yann Guichard’s and Loïck Peyron taking a first fleet race win and sustaining a four place overall . Sailings fastest man around the world Loïck Peyron will be helmsman in Newport Rhode island this summer As yann will be skippering his MOD 70 @spindrift racing for the kickoff in NewYork Harbor of the Krys ocean race this is a racing team that for sure .

Team New Zealand still secured a Third overall training partners for team Prada and Ac 72 development in
Auckland the kiwis may have taught the young team to well of Prada and former Team Korea Skipper Chris Draper. Sunday race was for sure a wind whispers race for sure and Oracle racing John Kostecki made all the right calls to bring oracle in a head of Dean Barker and crew . Behind Prada . this week in San franciscos sailing community and offers its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the crew of 'Low Speed Chase' following the loss of life this weekend in the Full Crew Farallones Race .
